We’re looking for an experienced Senior Environmental Advisor to join our site-based team on a permanent 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth.

In this role, you’ll provide essential support and advice to operational departments and contractors at our Sino Iron operation, located at Cape Preston. You’ll help drive the implementation and continuous improvement of our Environmental Management System (EMS) to ensure we meet our organisational objectives.

Main responsibilities will include managing environmental compliance obligations and risks, facilitating environmental management processes, designing and implementing monitoring programs, and supporting corporate level liaison with government regulators on permitting, licensing and compliance matters.

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in environmental management, environmental science, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience managing environmental projects within the resource sector.
• Strong knowledge of WA environmental legislation and management systems.
• Experience with rehabilitation and environmental databases (experience with EnviroSys will be highly regarded).
• Proven ability to effectively communicate environmental issues and coordinate environmental projects.
• A valid manual driver’s licence.
